About Žuljana

A little about Žuljana - it's best to come and see... :)

Žuljana is a popular picturesque fishing and farming village in the southern part of the Pelješac peninsula, which offers its guests pure, almost untouched nature with the ever-present intoxicating scent of pine trees.

The very salty sea, well-preserved groves of centuries-old pines and olives, endless vineyards and long sandy pebble beaches with numerous coves, with intimate beaches and crystal clear sea, make this place ideal for spending your vacation.

This is an area that has one of the cleanest air in Europe. The sea, which is saltier than in other parts of Croatia, has beneficial effects on your health, especially for skin and respiratory problems.

Žuljana has one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in this part of the Adriatic Sea - small pebbles and sand. It is shallow, also suitable for children. Another beautiful beach is located in the neighboring bay.

In Žuljana, you will find the Studenac convenience store, for daily purchases of pastries, fruit and vegetables, a newly opened bakery, and two restaurants where you can taste fresh seafood specialties, pizza and excellent homemade wine. In season, the post office is open daily and offers, among other things, the possibility of exchanging money. Several days a week there is also the opportunity to buy fresh fish from the local fisherman, and several stalls are open daily with home-grown fresh fruit and vegetables, excellent red and white wine from local vintners, as well as many types of home-made schnapps.

Žuljana is an ideal place not only for spending a quiet holiday for families with children, but also for athletes and everyone who likes to discover and visit new places.
